Fall Inspired Maternity Photos Linkup
Things have finally settled down in the McNeil house so I’m diving back into blogging. We’re going to kick it off right with a couple new monthly Maternity and Newborn link ups. My goal here is to share some creativity with the world, and be inspired by others in the process.
Here are the linkup details:
- The monthly Inspirational Maternity Photos linkup will start on the 15th of the month and continue until midnight (PST) on the last day of the month.

For this round, I’m sharing Fall Inspired Maternity Photos! Fall is my absolute favorite time of year, with Pumpkin Spice everything, cooler weather, and the changing of the leaves. In Southern California, we don’t get too much of those leaves changing, so fall inspired maternity photos aren’t as easy as a trip to the maple trees, but playing with colors can be fun and here are some of my favorites inspired by the season:
Silhouette maternity photos are great any time of year, but I love the orange glow here.
The backlight in this image gives this mama that same orangey yellow glow – golden hour!
When I think of fall, I think of all things rustic and lots of nature, so this location is a favorite of mine.
Here I used the same natural, rustic, fall colors in the studio.
The rust orange of this bridge paired with the green maternity gown and neutral floral crown gets me excited about autumn.
And hey look, I found some leaves changing color!
