Stay at Home Photojournalism – Day 21 Prompt
Challenges.
This whole thing is a challenge. What’s been hardest? Can you photograph it?
Ideas:
- Show / tell us about your grocery shopping experiences.
- An emotion filled picture of yourself may do the trick
So my biggest challenge is this internal struggle of enjoying not being able to “work” (loving time with my kids) but also being stressed TF out about not bringing in my normal income. Yes, I am celebrating the happy moments, A LOT, but I’d be lying if I said this was the best staycation ever! And not working is, in fact, a lot of work. I’m not shooting, but I do have to squeeze in some business work any chance I get, and I still have to do a lot of behind the scenes / office stuff. That in and of itself is a challenge because, since I am “off work” and taking care of the kids, it is hard to find the time. I thought I’d be able to work while my kids nap, but I’ve been spending an increasing amount of time in the room with M while she naps on me. And by the end of the day I’m spent. So sometimes I just have to sneak into the kitchen to my emergency stash of M&Ms and indulge!
