Prescilla Rojas - Hair And Makeup Artist

I am a Makeup Artist for all occasions and special events. I’d like to describe my style of makeup as not masking what my clients look like, but enhancing their natural beauty. Bringing to light what is already there. Everyone loves to feel beautiful, and makeup can be a great way to make all people feel that way. My love for makeup has grown from seeing how happy my clients are with the results and how beautiful they feel. Working along side with Jenn is always an amazing experience. Getting to work with soon to be mommies or new parents and families and helping them feel their absolute best is truly rewarding and fulfilling. Seeing the final photos after every session, I’m left eager to do it all again!

How should I do my makeup for a maternity photo session?

When preparing for a maternity photo session in a studio, it’s best to opt for a natural makeup look. Here are some tips to help you achieve this:

Hydrate your skin: Drink plenty of water and moisturize your skin before the photo session to give it a healthy glow.

Use sheer, light coverage foundation: Avoid heavy, cakey foundation as it can be distracting in photos. Instead, opt for a light coverage foundation that matches your skin tone to even out your complexion.

Enhance your eyes: If you want to add a bit of definition to your eyes, use a soft brown or neutral eye shadow and add a touch of mascara.

Add a flush of color: Use a soft pink or peach blush on the apples of your cheeks to add a touch of color and radiance to your complexion.

Keep your lips neutral: Opt for a neutral lip color or a sheer lip gloss to keep the focus on your belly and face.

Remember, the focus should be on you and your growing belly, so keep your makeup simple and natural. If you are unsure about doing your own makeup, consider hiring our professional makeup artist. Prescilla will even come right to you in the studio!
