Can my Family be Included in Maternity Photos?

Including Family in Maternity Photo Shoots

Maternity photos with your partner and/or children is more than welcome at Jennifer McNeil Photography. If you want your family to be included in the maternity photos, just let me know! We will then come up with a plan for which looks they will be part of. If it is possible for your partner and children to come for part of the session, we can do family photos at that point. Then, for other looks, it will be all about you.

When are Partners and Children Not Included in Photos?

Some more elaborate set ups such as the gold leaf foil maternity photos, or tossed fabrics and gowns, are more fitting for solo images. These images are powerful maternity photos all about you and it is my professional opinion that you should have your moment to shine. That doesn’t mean we won’t include your family in other parts of the maternity session.

Best Ways to Include Your Family in Maternity Photos

In the studio we have dozens of gowns to choose from and many different backdrop options. Most of these looks are great for family maternity photos! This portion of the session is like any family photoshoot, except that you’re pregnant! I’ll of course pose you properly for pregnancy and add in all of your family members. Family Maternity Photos are a great way to get one last updated family photo before you bring in your brand new family member. Then, you can get your first family portrait with the newest addition in your family newborn portrait session!

So can I include your family in maternity photos? Yes! If you want to include family in your maternity photos, I am happy to help! Immediate family is always welcome in any session in my studio. Couples maternity photos, or photos of you and your kids are also great options!
